About Us, March 2020

I created ParkRestnGo.com from two experiences. For 18 months I was an Airbnb host in Southern California, and during that time I not only covered my house mortgage from Airbnb hosting income, but I made hundreds of friends and had countless good conversations and great times watching the sunset together on my back porch.

And while traveling in my 1986 Vixen motorhome, I had some really awful experiences. Finding a place to stop over for a break, be it a few hours or a few nights, usually involved an undesireable location or a much too expensive parking spot.

There had to be a better way. So I put the two experiences together and created ParkRestnGo.com, 'Airbnb for RV Travelers' if you will.

COVID-19

About Us, April 2020

ParkRestnGo.com was launched in 2017, when no one could have imagined the impact that COVID-19 is having today. However, ParkRestnGo.com seems to be in the right place at the right time.

For Homeowners, Property Owners, and Businesses:

You can earn extra income by hosting RV travelers on your property, with social distancing built in. You don't need to greet travelers or handle paperwork or cash. ParkRestnGo.com does it all for you. Travelers can even check in after hours.

For RV Travelers:

During this crisis it doesn't seem logical that Federal and State Campgrounds, and RV Parks, would be ordered to close because after all, social distancing is built in, and for many of you your RV is your home. But they are closed, and will never be the same. Expect fees to increase (to cover lost revenues and the cost of ongoing disenfecting). Expect the process of booking and checking into traditional parking places to become more complicated and cumbersome.

ParkRestnGo.com is your safe port in a storm. You can find places to park and camp, review actual pictures of each parking spot, and (coming soon) read reviews of travelers who parked there before you. Something not found anywhere else. And many of the spots on ParkRestnGo.com start at just $20 per night.

Relaunch

New Website, December 2021

I am excited to announce a completely redesigned and new website for ParkRestnGo.com.

This re-launch has been several years in the making, and already contains a lot of new features that we will be turning on in 2022, like new types of parking and expanded stay types. ParkRestnGo still maintains our 'calendar centric' design, similar to Airbnb. You can see right on a host calendar exactly which parking spots, and what days are open and available for immediate booking.
